Battle of Mosul: what comes next?
I am following the last few days of battle is Mosul where there are only a few pockets of Daesh fighters left. The second largest city of Iraq is about to be fully liberated from Daesh.
I just wanted to share a few interesting recent videos that I found.

The following interview is interesting because, in light of the previous video, it provides some hope for the future of Iraq, as a peaceful, multi-cultural nation:
Nothing is a given, and the road ahead will be very long and frought with difficulties; obviously, we hope for the best.
The cost of war is always heavy. While we can only be satisfied that IS is on the retreat, we can't forget the price paid, especially by the civilian population caught in the cross-fire:

As the battle is still raging in the old Mosul, brave female students are already working on reopening the recently liberated Mosul University:
